Artwork has always been one of my passions and until recently had only been a hobby. I studied art at school although I found the courses constricting to my style and way of working.
I started out working mostly in pencils then graduated to painting in acrylics and making paper cutouts. I find acrylics suit my contemporary style and are relatively easy to use.
I like to experiment painting all sorts of subjects and am particularly inspired by nature. I work either from live subjects, from photos or am driven by my own imagination and improvisation.
My most important objectives are to capture the character of the subject I paint and the light, colour and tones.
Apart from offering high quality photographic prints in a variety of sizes, I also offer a bespoke commission service.
